VISIT REPORT FOR IRAN, Syed Safdar
Hussain Kazmi.
I am now starting to write down few lines of visit report from the Sahiwal railway station, while sitting in the cabin of Manager Dinning Car of Quetta Express due to the personal contact of Syed Tasleem Raza, the husband of the sister of my wife. It is pointed out that the entertainment of the Manager is excellent because Syed Tasleem Raza is also a Manager of Tazgham Express. My mother and Aunt were sitting in the Sleeper Class as a special case by bearing Rs.600/- excess than the charges of Rs.19000/- each required to be paid to the Salar-e-Qafila. It goes without saying that we were travelling with a Qafila having more than 25 passengers on the train. I must be very proud of such journey that for the second time God has again given me an opportunity to visit the Holy Shrines of above mentioned countries. Basically, I am a lucky person to whom one more chance is provided by the All-e-Muhammad (A.S) and I really believe that there do not exit such words/sentences which could be written in support of my fortune. I must say that Safdar Kazmi, you the luckiest enough to whom All-e-Muhammad (A.S) have again invited to see/touch the Holy Shrines of Imam Raza (A.S), Imam Ali (A.S) Imam Hussain (A.S), Hazrat Abbass Alamdar (A.S), Imam Ali Naqi (A.S) Imam Taqi (A.S), Imam Musa Kazim (A.S), Bibi Sani-e-Zahra (S.A), Bibi Sakina (S.A) and many many more. On 5th April, 1997 we reached at Quetta Railway Station at 6.10 (P.M) late by 2 hrs. However, we were taken to the nearest hotel by the Salar-e-Qafila (Syed Ali Raza) by arranging Suzuki Vans. One night was spent in the Hotel and next day i.e. on 6th April, 1997, we straight-away proceeded to Bus Stop in order to get the full fledge Air Conditioner Bus for the Journey from Quetta to Taftan Border. However, at 9.15 (A.M) on the next day, we reached at Tuftan Border (Pakistani last territory) and after doing/completing all the normal formalities by Pakistani immigration department, we straight-away proceeded to Mir Java i.e. the Iranian Border where-in the same type of codal formalities were carried out and there-after, we were embarked to a journey from Mir-Java to Zahadan (the Ist major city nearer to Pakistani border having 88 km distance). Salar-e-Qafila did not arrange the transport well in time which could take us from Zahadan Bus stand to Musaffir Khana, thus we waited there for about one hour, which was really felt very badly by all the people accompanying with us due to tiredness of immense travelling. Salar-e-Qafila must know his job before taking so many people to almost four countries. It is added that the Musafar Khana was not selected properly by the Salar-e-Qafila, due to the reason that the major facilities were not provided in it, therefore, most of the people gathered themselves to inquire from the Slare-e-Qafila that on what type of grounds, selection of such a bad accommodation is carried out for us ? However, he was forced to change the accommodation and ultimately, we again took our luggage to shift from old accommodation to Musaffir Khana-e- "Abu-Zar". It is quite neat and clean having all major facilities required to be provided by the Salar-e-Qafila at the initial stages. I hope, Salar-e-Qafila will take care in future, avoiding such inconveniences. Two nights of 7th and 8th April, 1997, had been spent in this Hotel. Our seats in the Iranian Air-Craft were Booked for the journey from Zahadan Airport to Tehran Airport. On 9th of April, 1997 we reached at Tehran Airport and thereafter we proceeded to Qum City of Iran almost 5.45 (P.M) through Bus hired from the Tehran Airport duly arranged by the Salar-e-Qafila in advance to avoid any disturbance felt previously. I straight-away went into the Shrine of Bibi "Fatima Bint-e-Imam" Mousa Kazim (A.S) she is well known as Masooma-e-Qom. Therein, I offered two Rikat prayer and read so many Quranic verses. On 10th April, 1997 at 4.30 (P.M), we left Qum city for Kusravi Border of Iran in order to go to Najif-e-Ashraf for the holy visit of the Shrine of Imam Ali (A.S) through Al-Munzeria Border of Iraq. There is a distance of at-least 600 Miles from Qum City to Kusravi Border and the Buses took near about 10 Hours to complete the required journey. We reached at Kusravi Border at 3.00 (A.M) early in the morning of 11th April, 1997. During the journey there was a lot of cold and the process of dizzling (Ice flowing) was kept continued till the final stages to long journey. The bus was having heating system, therefore, no such cold was felt while travelling. It goes without saying that the cold at Kusravi Border was having (-2) degree below thus, we felt a lot of cold due to improper living system at Irani Border. Only five or six rooms were provided to all the Qafila people which ultimately resulted tiredness and uncomfort to every individual. Thus, we could not sleep throughout the night. It was really the mis-management from the part of Salar-e-Qafila. No proper programme was made by him. Most of the people were of the view that the Salar-e-Qafila must have started this journey from 8.00 (P.M) at night instead of 4.30 (P.M).
After completing all the normal formalities in the Iraqi Border, we were presented Luch-cum-Break Fast by the local leader of the Salar-e-Qafila with whose help, Iraqi visas were issued to Pakistani people. At near about 1.20 (P.M) we proceeded to Najif-e-Ashraf, at the Hotel of Al-Zahoor from where, I took bath and thereafter went into the holy Shrine of Hazrat Ali (A.S). It is further pointed out that the graves of following Nabi Allahs are also situated inside the holy shrine of Hazrat Imam Ali (A.S). 1. Grave of Hazrat Adam (A.S) On 12th April, 1997 the Slare-e-Qafila had arranged the local Ziarats of Najif-e-Ashraf and Kufa. Basically, these cities were as similar as Rawalpindi and Islamabad as regard with the distance between the two points. The following Ziarats were seen as per listed below:- 1. Hazrat-e-Qumauyal Bin Ziaad. He is a follower of Hazrat Ali
(A.S). He has been granted Dowa known as Dowa-e-Qumauyal, which is usually recited
on Thursday night after Isha prayer. 3. i. Hazrat Aliai Bint Syed Sajjad (A.S).
In Najif-e-Ashraf, there situated Sehla Mosque which is having a tremendous importance. As a matter of fact, the mosque was a house of Hazrat Idress (A.S) and Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) and Hazrat Khizer (A.S). Following, Nabbi Allahs and Imams have visited this mosque and offered prayers and ultimately the places on which the prayers were performed, had now been converted as "Moqam" and "Masallahs" which have been constructed with Cement as a sign. People of the Qafila also performed prayer at these places on which the Imams and Nabbi Allahs have offered prayers. Following are the places:- " Moqam-e-Hazrat Jafir-e-Sadiq (A.S) 5. Hazrat Rasheed Hijri. In Kufa, there situated a Shrine of Hazrat Rasheed Hijri the follower of Hazrat Ali (A.S) he was martyred due to the reason that when the high officials of the Government of that time after the martyrdom of Hazrat Ali (A.S), had ordered him to abuse Hazrat Ali (A.S) but he refused to do so, therefore his hand, tongue and legs were cut down. He was a very brave man on the earth at that time. 6. Shrine of Hazrat Zaid Bin Ali Bin Zain-ul-Abiddin (A.S) near
Kufa. Following are main platforms on which the prayers of two Rickats are essential to be offered, while visiting Kufa Mosque. i) Moqam-e- Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S): This is the place on which Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) Nabi-allah had visited this mosque and had offered two Rickat prayer. However, we also offered two rickat prayer as usual. ii) Datta-ul Kizza: This is a place from where Hazrat Ali (A.S) had given the decision of different nature basically, it was a hut. We offered two rickat prayer on this place. This is a place where Hazrat Ali (A.S) used to decide the cases of different nature usually admitted by the public. One important decision was made by Hazrat Ali (A.S) i.e. "Two persons came to Hazrat Ali (A.S) and requested to decide the dispute in which one person was claiming that the other person had killed my wife and the other was saying no I did not, she had died in a natural way. Hazrat Ali (A.S) told that the person had killed the wife because the wife of first person was very beautiful and he wanted to get married with her, but her husband was a very strong man and as such, no permission was granted to get remarried. So Hazrat Ali (A.S) ordered to put the second man behind the Bars and treatment according to applicable rules/laws of Islam be started against him. iii) Bate-e-Tasht. This is a very important place which is situated inside the Masjid-e-Kufa where Hazrat-e-Ali (A.S) had given a marvelous type of decision of different nature according to merit. An important decision was made by Hazrat Ali (A.S) to decide a dispute between the neighbour and a woman. The neighbour were claiming that the woman had got abducted, having a big abdomen which is the solid proof of her abduction, Hazrat-e-Ali (A.S) has told the people that the decision will be given tomorrow after "Maghrab Prayer. "On next day after "Maghrab Prayer" Hazrat-e-Ali (A.S) told the woman to lay down on the wet clay . After having 10 minutes, an animal had come out from the abdomen of the woman which was the clear indication that she was not abducted woman and as such, the animal entered into the abdomen of the woman. Hazrat-e-Ali (A.S) had given his decision that the woman was innocent, she had not committed any type of sin. The actual matter was described by the Hazrat Ali (A.S) by saying that the woman was taking bath in the pound in her house and an insect was entered in the abdomen of this woman and about 7 months later the insect was turned into a big animal inside the abdomen of woman. Therefore, on the recommendation of Hazrat-e-Ali (A.S) the woman was released as she had not committed Sin. iv) Moqam-e-Hazrat Adam: (A.S) This is the place from where DOWA of Hazrat-e-Adam: (A.S) was accepted by the God, who had been praying from this point and used to tell the God that my DOWA may be accepted. However, we offered two Rickat prayer. v) Moqam-e-Hazrat Jibraill (A.S) This is the very famous place where Hazrat Ali (A.S) used to sit on the same place and asked the people to put any question of every nature so that I may answer you according to the requirement "Oh, people listen my words carefully I know the places/tracks of sky well as compared to the tracks of earth. The people started asking different type of questions of different nature and Hazrat Ali (A.S) used to reply according to their requirements to get them satisfied in all respect. One of the person from the courtyard stood up and asked Hazrat Ali (A.S) to answer, "where is Hazrat Jebraieel (A.S) right now" ? Hazrat Ali (A.S) looked around on the earth and on the sky then said either you are Hazrat Jebraieel (A.S) or myself, but I am not Jebraieel (A.S). This is you, who is Jebraieel (A.S). At that time Hazrat Jabraieel (A.S) had flown to the sky after saying "Haq-Ya-Ali" Haq-Ya-Ali". Therefore, this place is known as the Moqam-e-Hazrat Jebraieel (A.S). I had offered two Rikat Nimaz on the same place. vi) Moqam-e-Muhammad (Peace be upon him) This moqam is having a great importance due to the reason that when Hazrat Muhammad (Peace be upon him) was coming back from (MIRAJ), near Kufa Mosque, Hazrat Jebraieel (A.S) had inquired from Hazrat Muhammad (Peace be upon him), which place you are going through right now ? Hazrat Muhammad (Peace be upon him), said that this place is very nearer to Kufa Mosque and he said, I want to perform two rickat prayer on this earth. Hazrat Jebraieel then said, God has permitted you to perform prayer on this point. Thus, I also offered two rickat prayer, so this is really a great honour for me. vii) Mosqam-e-Syed Sajjad (A.S) On this point, Hazrat-e-Syed Sajjad (A.S) had also offered two rickat prayer while visiting Kufa Mosque. We offered two Rickat prayer. viii) Moqam-e-Nooh (A.S) This is a point from where Hazrat Nooh (A.S) has offered two rickat prayer while visiting the Mosque Kufa. ix) Well of Tufan-e-Nooh This is a closed well from where Tufan-e-Nooh (A.S) was started, which is situated just in the center of the Kufa Mosque. x) Moqam-e-Jaffar Sadiq (A.S) While coming to Kufa/Najaf, Hazrat
Jaffar Sadiq (A.S) had visited the Kufa Mosque and offered two Rickat prayer.
Therefore, we too offered the two rickat prayer. xii) Mosque of Hazrat Ali (A.S). This is mosque named Hazrat
Ali (A.S) and is now a complete mosque from where Hazrat Ali (A.S) used to offer
daily prayer of five times. Just in side the mosque of Hazrat Ali (A.S), there
situated a place of Hazrat Mehdi (A.S), who also visited this place and offered
prayer. xvi) Shrine of Hazrat Hani (A.R). Basically, Hazrat Hani (A.R)
was a friend of Hazrat Muslim bin Akeel in whose house, he lived while visiting
Kufa. But Hazrat Hani was the only person who left behind while offering Ba
Jammat prayer of Zuhar and Asar in Kufa. Thus, due to friendship of Hani with
Hazrat Muslim bin Akeel, he was martyred. There is a long history of martyrdom
of Hazrat Muslim bin Akeel as well as of Hazrat Hani, which will take almost
few pages. Therefore, I have given central lines, which may give you an idea,
if, however, the readers of this visit report required any more information,
then books on this subject are available in the market. HOUSE OF HAZRAT ALI (A.S). Just out side the Kufa Mosque, there situated a small house of Hazrat Ali (A.S), which comprises of 06 rooms. On room is a big one in which the funeral process of Hazrat Ali (A.S) was completed and the other room is well known due to the reason that in this room (Kafan Dafan) of Hazrat Ali (A.S) was given by Hazrat Hassan (A.S) and Hazrat Hussain (A.S). It is further pointed that there is also a well of water inside the House of Hazrat Ali (A.S) from which sweet and cold water is still available for all the people visiting the House. We took a Cain of water for the Kith and Kin of family living in Pakistan. We have also drunk few glasses of water while visiting the house of Hazrat Ali (A.S). Actually, there was a small gate from where Hazrat Ali (A.S) used to enter into the mosque of Kufa from his house but in these days there doesn't appear any sign. It is also added that just out side the house, a small type of garden is situated on which few trees of "Dates" may be seen. Due to winter season, no such Date were available to be eaten. It goes without saying that one room of Bibi Zanib (S.A), one room of Hazrat Ummul-Bineen (S.A), one room for library of Hazrat Hassan (A.S) & Hazrat Hussain (A.S) are still available with little decoration. On the right side of the house of Hazrat Ali (A.S) there is a little sign of the palace of Ibn-Ziaad (A.L) which really looks as a sign of (IBRAT) for those who do not like to love the Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) and All-e-Muhammad (A.S) and have tortured the sons/daughters of All-e-Muhammad (A.S). It is added with great emphasis that those who tried to ruin the All-e-Muhammad (S.A) have no sign of their graves, on the other hand beautiful shrines of All-e-Muhammad (S.A) may be seen every where. So this is what the difference between the two. As soon as, we come out from the Kufa Mosque, there is a small shrine of Bibi Khatija (S.A) Daughter of Hazrat Ali (A.S) sister of Hazrat Abbass (A.D/A.S). We offered two rickat prayer as usual. This ends the Ziarats of 12th April, 1997. " On 13th of April, 1997 we again started the journey for the local Ziarats of Hilla City which is nearly 60 KM away from the Kufa City. Firstly, we went to the shrine of Hazrat Abu-Bakar bin Hazrat Ali (A.S) who was the brother of Hazrat Abbass Alamdar (A.S) and was martyor of Karbala tragedy. 1. Place of Birth of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S). Near Hilla there
is a place in Babal in which Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) Nabi Allah was born. Actually,
the place is little deeper than the present level of the earth. According to
the opinion of the people, it was the actual level when Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S)
was born, thereafter with the passage of time this level went deeper and deeper. 23 (Radd-e-Shamad). This is a point where Hazrat Ali (A.S) had ordered the sun to come back to its original position so that "Aser" Prayer could be offered by him well in time. Actually, Hazrat Ali (A.S) and his Soldiers were coming back from Maddain & Karbala and on that occasion Hazrat Ali (A.S) had ordered the soldiers to cross the Karbala as soon as possible so that the trouble-some area of Karbala could be got through immediately. So, when the soldiers of Hazrat Ali (A.S) reached at that place then, Hazrat Ali (A.S) and his soldiers were too late to offer "Aser" Prayer, then Hazrat Ali (A.S) ordered the sun to go back to early position, so that Prayer may be offered. This ends with the Ziarats of 13.04.1997, and thereafter we straightway proceeded to the Hotel at Najif. Next day i.e. on 14.04.1997, we started our further visit to Karbala from Najif. After Fajr prayer. 1.Hazrat "Hurr" (A.S). This shrine is away from the proper Karbala. Hazrat Hur was the member of Yazadi Camp. He is the person who stopped Imam(A.S) at Karbala and hold the reigns of Imam's horse but Imam Hussain (A.S) told him that you are looking me very thirsty. Imam Hussain (A.S) offered the water to his soldiers and horses. Thereafter, he offered Zohar prayer behind Imam Hussain (A.S). On the 2nd of Muharram he ordered to shift Khamas away from River Farrat. Later-on, on the night of Ashora he heard the voice of a child cyring "Thurst, Thurst". He felt sorry and wept over his act. He called for his sons and ordered them to tie up his hands and carry him to the Imam Hussain (A.S) for forgiveness. Imam Hussain embrassed him and said him "brother". He then asked, if Bibi Zainab (S.A) can forgive him but Bibi Zanib (S.A) also said him brother Hur you came to us at the time we don't have a drop of water to entertain you. He and his sons fought with Yazidi Lashkar and martaryed. There was continuous bleeding from a wound of his head. Imam Hussain (A.S) covered this wound with his mother's handkerchief. The story of Hazrat Hur is a clear indication that how much enmity one can had with the All-e-Muhammad but when, he realizes and comes to them regarding forgivenness with open heart, they forgave him in true sense. 2.Hazrat "Oan"bin Hazrat Abdullah bin Hazrat Jaffar Tiyyar Bin Hezrat Ali (A.S). The shrine of Hazrat "Oan" bin Abdullah bin Hazrat Jaffar-e-Tiyyar.(A.S). The above Shrine is outside the territory of Karbala. As a matter of fact, the mother of Hazrat Oan (A.S) i.e. Hazrat Bibi Zanib (S.A) had told Hazrat Oan (A.S) to fight the enemies of Hazrat-e-Hussain (A.S) bravely and according to the requirements, so that, I may not be ashamed of in front of Hazrat Imam-e-Hussain (A.S). In his reply he said that INSHALLA, I will fight very bravely against the enemies of Hazrat Imam-e-Hussain (A.S). Thus, Hazrat Oan (A.S) had fought bravely and killed so many enemies and crossed the territory of Karbala while fighting. This shrine is also situated away from Karbala nearly 10 Km away from the actual place of Karbala. 3. Hazrat Al-Qasim bin Hazrat Hassan (A.S) bin Hazrat Ali (A.S). He was the son of Hazrat Hassan (A.S) who was martyred during the war of Nerawan. This shrine is situated in Mesayub City. 4. Muhammad bin Aqeel. He was brother of Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel, who was martyred alongwith Oan-o-Muhammad bin Hazrat Muslim bin Akeel due to the reason that he wanted to refrain Oan-o-Muhammad from the crual people of the Government but could not succeed, thus he was also martyred.
On next day i.e. 15.04.1997 Ziarats of "Samra" city were schedule to be seen, therefore nearly at 9.20 (A.M), we proceeded to Samra through Air Conditioner buses. This city is nearly 270 Km away from Karbala city. Samra is constructed near Dajhla River which is longer/wider than our Ravi River. Actually, Government of Iraq has also constructed a Barrage on this River. However, we reached at Samra City at 2.00 (.P.M) after having 2 stop-overs due to long journey. Following were the main Ziarats which were seen. 1. Shrine of Hazrat Ali Naqi (A.S) All of the above Ziarats are situated in a Big Sharine and the holy graves have been divided, but the names have not been mentioned. However, "Khuddams" introduced us the details about the graves of above mentioned personalities. " Al-Heer Palace. (Prison of Hazrat Imam Hassan Askri &
Hazrat Imam Ali Naqi (A.S). Actually, this was a prison of above Imams in which
they spent many years. It is very dark from inside and no sign of light is available
to watch specially those rooms in which the above Imams were put behind the
bars by the then kings. It goes without saying that these type of places were
really very difficult to be seen for an ordinary person like me, due to bad
lighting and environment where I could not stay even for half an hour, how could
I imagine how our beloved Imams had spent number of years of their lives there.
This is, therefore, a big sign of interrogation? After visiting these Ziarats, we went to the nearest city of Samra known as Balad. Balad is 25 KM away from the city of Samra. There is a Shrine of Hazrat Syed Muhammad Bin Hazrat Ali Naqi (A.S) who is a well known personality due to MOJJAZATS. This ends with the Ziarats for the 15th April, 1997. However, we did not go any where on 16.04.1997 due to rest day, declared by the Salar-e-Qafila. KARBALA On next day i.e. 17th April, 1997, we completed all the local Ziarats of Karbala, I took bath and straight-away went to the Holy Shrine of Imam-e-Hussain (A.S) and Hazrat-e-Abbas-e-Alamdar (A.S). These two shrines are similar in shape and tremendously constructed by the "Then Kings" and Heads of the states. Inside the shrine of Imam-e-Hussain (A.S) there consists of two more Graves i.e. Hazrat Ali Akbar (A.S) and the Hazrat Ali Asghar (A.S). Near-by, there is Ghanj-e-Shuhada-e-Qasim S/O Hazrat Imam Hassan (A.S), Hazrat-Oan-o-Muhammad. There-after, in side this building, one more grave of Hazrat Habib-Ibn-e-Muzahir, one of the closest companion/friend of Hazrat-e-Imam Hussain (A.S), is situated just nearer to the next main door. Just two or three steps away "Kattal-Gah-e-Imam Hussain" (A.S) is situated inside the compound, which is, the deepest place in Karbala. This (Kattal-Gah) turned to downward; This is why, Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S) had ordered the land to bend down so that, Hazrat Bibi Zanib (S.A) may not see him while dying/being got murdered by Shimer (A.L). Tilla-e-Zanibya is a place where Bibi Zanib (S.A) had ordered the land to raise up from actual position so that she could see her brother while presenting himself before the almighty Allah, which is 70, steps away from the Shrine of Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S). The brief history of this Tilla-e-Zanibya, is as under:- When the enemies had rushed to murder Imam Hussain (A.S) at that stage Bibi Zanib (S.A) had run from "Khama Gah" in order to see his brother but when she reached at Tilla-e-Zanibya the entire land had already bent down, thus created problem for her to see Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S) while being martyred. At that time Bibi Zanib (S.A) had ordered the land to rise up at a certain level so that she could see her brother Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S) while sacrifying his life in an honourable way. It is further pointed out, that both Imam Hussain (A.S) and Hazrat Bibi Zanib (S.A) are son and daughter of Hazrat Ali (A.S). Who is known as "ABUTRAB". This place is exactly 70, steps away from the Shrine of Imam Hussain (A.S). It goes without saying that there placed a "Kham-e-Gah" just 60, steps away from Tilla-e-Zanibya. In side the "Khama Gah" there situated, so many "Khamas". 1. The Ist Khama is known as Khama-e-Hazrat-e-Abbass-e-Alamdar
(A.S). Inside the different "Khamas" there situated a well, dug by Hazrat Abbas Alamdar (A.S), in order to have proper ablution for Zohar Prayer, but no water was available from this well. Almost 100 steps away from the Shrine of Imam Hussain (A.S) there situated a "Canal-e-Farat" which is just like a canal of Lahore but, the flow of water is very slow. Actually, this is the canal where Hazrat Abbas Alamdar (A.S) took some water for Hazrat Bibi "Sakina" (S.A) and Hazrat Ali Asghar (A.S). It is pointed out that Hazrat Abbas Alamdar had ordered his horse to have some water from the canal, but both Hazrat Abbas Alamdar (A.S) and his horse had not taken even a single drop of water, because, All-e-Resool were thirsty. Place Of Hazrat Abbas-e-Alamdar (A.S.) This is the place where the hands of Hazrat Abbas-e-Alamdar (A.S.) were cut down while brining water to Khema Gahs. Place Of Hazrat Ali Akbar (A.S.) This is the place where Hazrat Ali Akbar (A.S.) was martyred Place Of Hazrat Ali Asghar (A.S.) This is the place where Hazrat Ali Asghar (A.S.) was martyred in the hands of Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S) After visiting the local ziarats of Karbala we went to Median city which is nearly 70 or 80 KM away from Karbala. Following are the Ziarats which were seen accordingly. Grave of Hazrat Hifza Yamani.a well known follower of Hazrat
Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and Hazrat Ali (A.S). It is just s shrine, no other
decoration is carried out. The following Graves were also situated in the same
compound, as just a Grave, no proper importance is given to the followers of
Hazrat Muhammad (Peace be upon him). Hazrat Abdullah bin Jabbir Ansari Shrine of Hazrat Salman Farsi (A.R) , he has been follower of Hazrat Muhammad (P.B.U.H), who has been nominated / declared as a family member of Ahle-Bat-e-Rasool (A.S) by Hazrat Muhammad Peace be upon him. Mohale-e-Nosherwan. This is an old castle which is situated near the shrine of Hazrat Salman Farsi (A.R) on which Hazrat Ali (A.S) had offered prayers.
Following Shrines of Imams are situated in Kazimian near Baghdad:- 1. Hazrat Imam Mosa Kazim (A.S) On the same date, we visited the city of Baghdad where the following Ziarats were seen. i. Hazrat Kamber Ali (A.R) A well known follower of Hazrat Ali
(A.S). Brasaa Mosque This mosque is situated in between Baghdad and Kazimain which is very famous as regards to sacredness. Following are the main Fazellets of this mosque which was belived to be a village before construction of Mosque. 1. Almightly God has declared that no King/Emperor can land
on this mosque except prophet/Nabi-Allah. On 19th April, 1997 next session of the journey was started from Baghdad City to last Border of Iraq (Tribel) connecting Iraq and Jordan (Al-Rahid) Qafila was reached at Tribel at 12.30 (P.M) of 20th April, 1997. After completing painful formalities on the Border of Iraq, we entered into the Ist Border of Jordan (Al-Rahid), overthere, a policeman alongwith a car took us from Al-Rahid Border to last Border (Ramsa) at 5.30 (P.M) in order to reach the Syrian Border (Daraa). After the formalities in these Borders, we reached at Daraa Border at 7.30 (P.M). On 21st day of April, 97 we visited the holy shrine of Hazrat Bibi Zanib (S.A), Detail of this great lady is given here-under:- Bibi Zanib (S.A); (Daughter of Hazrat Ali (A.S) She is a well known lady of the tragedy of Karbala. She is the daughter of Hazrat Ali (A.S) and Hazrat Bibi Zahra (S.A), and of course the sister of Hazrat Imam Hassan (A.S) and Imam Hussain (A.S). She was born on 4, Shaban 6 Hijri in Madina, Saudi Arabia. Actually, she had a tremendous contribution in the tragedy of Karbala. After the martyrdom of every individual in Karbala, she was the elder lady of Ahl-e-Bait Rasool, who took care of female personalities and children, and the Syed Sajjad (A.S) who was suffering from fever and was commonly known as BEMAR-E-KARBALA. As a matter of fact, all the martyrs of Karbala, were killed in front of the eyes of Bibi Zanib (S.A) including her two young sons (Oan-o-Muhammad) and above all, the process of running of horses on the dead bodies of all the martyrs of Karbala was also seen by her. Actually, we can explain these words in this report but ask from Bibi Zanib (S.A), how she had faced and seen such incidents, no human being can tolerate this type of tragedy, even people used to weep while describing and listening the tragedy of Karbala. It is added that Bibi Zanib (S.A) while coming to Damascus inside the Darbar-e- Yazeed (A.L), had addressed and her speeches are famous. As explained earlier in this visit report that Yazeed (A.L) had already declared and explained to every one that he killed all the people of Anti-government group. However, Bibi Zanib (S.A) had addressed to all the crowd of Darbar-e-Yazeed (A.L) as under:- "O" Yazeed (A.L), listen! God is great, compassionate and merciful, who gave birth to all the world. God may pay Darood-o-Slam to Ahl-e-Bait Rasool (A.S), God says that ultimate result of bad character people happened that they did not agree to the "sings to God" but given no importance to Muhammad (Peace be upon him). "O" Yazeed (A.L) listen, you have tighten the land and sky on us and put behind the Bars and show it to all the public ?. Do you think/understand that God have put us in this bad condition and given full respect to you ?. Are you proud and happy that all the areas of the land are under your control ? but you have forgotten the order of the God. You killed the grand son of Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his family members. Is it your justice? that your daughters and wives are sitting in the rooms but the Ahl-e-Bait Rasool (A.S) are being shown to everyone without "Pardah". So that the crowd of your Government may see the daughters of Muhammad (Peace be upon him) without "Chaadars" and now you put stick on the teeth of Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S) and told, "Alas" my forefathers would have seen my success that I have taken the revenge of my forefathers, killed during the battles of Badar/Uhad. You do whatever you desire but remember you absolutely, cannot abolish our names, your age is very small, your government is time limited, and there is a "Laanat" to the cruel who carry out cruelty. After listing this marvelous address from Bibi Zanib (S.A) most of the people ran into tears and asked Yazeed (A.L), you were saying that we had killed anti-government group, but you have killed the grand son of Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his kith & kin. Thereafter, every individual from the crowd had shouted against Yazeed (A.L). Listening this address an old blind Sahabi of Hezrat Ali (A.S) in the Darbar enquired from the people, had the day of judgment (Qayamat) come? I am listening the voice of Ali (A.S). He was replied that, it was not Ali(A.S), but his eldest daughter Bibi Zainab (S.A) who was addressing because Imam Hussain (A.S) had been martyred alongwith his sons and bothers and beloved friends by Yazeed (A.L). She had been made prisoner with other family members. On hearing this blood rushed into his body. He stepped forward, fought with the Yazeed (A.L) soldiers and was killed in the Darbar. 1. Nearly 20 or 25 Km away from the shrine of Bibi Zanib (S.A)
as per schedule of Slare-e-Qafila, we went to the Shrine of Hazrat Habeel (A.S)
S/O Hazrat (Adam) (A.S), who was martyred by his real/elder brother Kabeel (A.L),
which was first murder of a human being on the earth. The Shrine of Hazrat Habeel
(A.S) is situated on the top of the hill,. a well known series of mountains
i.e. valley Joolan on these mountains, Israel and Syria fought many wars and
most of the time was spent on wars. It is pointed out that the total length
of the grave of Hazrat Habeel (A.S) is 19 feet long. Raoos-e-Shoudha This is a place where heads of the following personalities were placed in the graveyard of Damascus, before taking these in front of Abn-Yazeed (A.L) from Karbala. i. Hazrat Abbas (A.D) (A.S) bin Hazrat Ali (A.S). 7.Shrine of Hazrat Umm-e-Qullsoom (S.A) daughter of Hazrat Ali 8.On the same graveyard, following are the other shrines, which are situated near the above two shrines just few yards-away. i. Hazrat Bibi Fatime Suggra (S.A) daughter of Hazrat Imam Hussain
(A.S) She remained with all the Ahl-e-Bait Rasool during and after the Tragedy of Karbala and really had served the Ahl--Bait Rasool in a true spirit whose role cannot be forgotten till the existence of this world. After the martyrdom of Hazrat Bibi Fatima Zahara (S.A), every individual of Ahl-e-Bait Rasool, really respected her and most of the time Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S) and Hazrat Bibi Zainab (S.A) used to call her as Amma Fizza. 9.Hazrat Hijar Addi (A.R). Just 50 Km away from the Shrine of Hazrat Bibi Zainab (S.A), a City known as "Azra" is situated on which a great follower of Hazrat Ali (A.S) named Hazrat Hijer bin Addi Alkhair AlKundi is buried. Brief History is given here-under. After the martyrdom of Hazrat Ali (A.S), the chief of the (Government), had called Hazrat Hijar (A.R) in his palace and directed him that, not to praise and follow the footsteps of Hazrat Ali (A.S), in future but Hazrat Hijar (A.R), has told him, why not his name is taken in public and thus he refused to obey the orders. After that, he ordered the police man in his palace and said call the only son of Hazrat Hijar and kill him in front of the eyes of Hazrat Hijar (A.R), so that in future, he may not be able to take the name of Hazrat Ali (A.S), however, in a nut shell, the son of Hazrat Hijar (A.R) was killed in-front of him evenafter, he did not agree and said what-ever you do I will not abuse Hazrat Ali (A.S). Thereafter, Hazrat Hijar (A.R) was also killed by starting cutting the fingers, Hands, Foots and chest i.e. in a very cruel manner one cannot imagine. Bazar-e-Sham. Thereafter, we again come to Damascus and straight-away went into the same Bazar from which Ahl-e-Bait Rasool (S.L) including Hazrat Syed Sajjad (A.S) and Hazrat Muhammad Bakir (A.S) were taken to the Darbar-e-Yazeed (A.L). Every individual of our Qafila alongwith to other Qafilas had also gone through the same Bazar by saying Ya Hussain, Ya Hussain and ultimately reached at Bab-e-Saed (A.L) , which is 70 foots away from the Darbar-e-Yazeed (A.L). This is the same Bab-e-Saed, where Ahl-e-Bait Rasool (A.S) had remained standing on feets for about 3 1/2 days and they were not allowed to even sit on the land for even a single moment. It is added that Ahl-e-Bait Rasool (A.S) had listend 17 (Azans) on the same Bab-e-Saed. Thereafter, Yazeed (A.L) gave them the time to enter into the Darbar, known as Darbar-e-Yazeed (A.L). This is really the height of cruelty which cannot be ignored till the survival of earth.
Following are the main places situated in the Darbar-e-Yazeed (A.L):- BIG CUPS Two big cups of stone, which had been constructed by those Emperors who had wanted to kill Hazrat Yahya (A.S). But, religious minded people warned the Emperors not to do so and if you will start killing Hazrat Yahya (A.S) , then there shall be a blood shed in all over the territory if any single drop of Blood of Hazrat Yahya (A.S) is dropped on the earth and most the people including high officials will be murdered. But, he did not do it and had refused to kill Nabi-ullah, Hazrat Yahya (A.S). The King on that time discussed this matter with his so-called, wise officials of his Darbar and informed that the religious minded people were of the view that if a single drop of blood from the body of Hazrat Yahya (A.S) dropped on the earth, than, there many start blood shed in throughout this country/territory, however, if you want to kill Hazrat Yahya (A.S) then all the blood from the body of Hazrat Yahya (A.S) is kept safe on these two cups, so no drop of blood will be fallen on the earth. Thus, all the scheme had been completed by the king and therefore, Hazrat Yahya (A.S) was killed. But, during this process, one single drop of blood from the holy body of Hazrat Yahya (A.S) was fallen on the earth, hence this blood started giving bubbles on the earth and ultimately it went on spreading very fastly. As a result of this, a well of blood had been arisen within some minutes. After the great struggles of the king and his followers, the well of blood was closed. It goes without saying that the Minor as discussed in Para-13 (Ante) has exuding the drops of blood from top to bottom due to the closure of the well of Blood by the king and his followers. It should be kept in mind that all these points are still available in side the Big Darbar-e-Yazeed (A.L). Thus, the continuos flow of little drop of blood of Hazrat Yahya (A.S) was remained for a long time, and when the highest dignity (name is not mentioned) of the country or a town, had inquired about the position, he started the killing of those people who really took part in the murder case of Hazrat Yahya (A.S) thereafter, the blood from the Minor was stopped flowing towards the earth from the top of the Minor. 1.Shrine of Hazrat Yahya (A.S). Near to these cups a shrine of Hazrat Yahya (A.S) is situated in the main Darbar-e-Yazeed (A.L). Hazrat Yahya (A.S) had been burried on this place just after the martyrdom. This shrine is situated in the middle of the main Darbar-e- Yazeed (A.L). 2. Near to the shrine of Hazrat Yahya (A.S) one place not too much wider, is situated, on which all the Ahl-e-Bait Rasool (A.S) including all the women and children were permitted to sit down on the earth after 04 days approximately. During four days, Ahl-e-Bait Rasool, had not been permitted even to sit down on the earth, I think this the highest peak of cruelty done by the Yazeed (A.L), whose grave is situated under the fire furnace factory well known as Glass factory in Damascus. 3. In front of this place, (where all the women/children of Ahl-e-Bait Rasool (A.S) were permitted), there situated a place on which Hazrat Syed Sajjad (A.S) delivered his speech in front of all the crowed sitting on the Darbar-e-Yazeed. Firstly, Yazeed (A.L) was not giving permission to Hazrat Syed Sajjad (A.S) even to speak before the crowed. However, he agreed to permit Hazrat Syed Sajjad (A.S), suddenly Aazan had started and when the words of Muhammad (Peace be upon him) were called, then Hazrat Syed Sajjad (A.S) ordered the Moazam to stop giving Aazan, and pointed out to Yazeed (A.L), who is Hazrat Muhammad (Peace be upon Him), whose name is taken in the Aazan ? he is my Grand Father answered by Hazrat Syed Sajjad (A.S), why have you killed his kith and kin and why you have done the cruelty with the women/children of the Ahl-e-Bait Rasool (A.S)? Yazeed (A.L) did not answer the question of Hazrat Syed Sajjad (A.S) and ordered all the crowed that this section of meeting is ended. 4.Just in front of the point on which Hazrat Syed Sajjad (A.S) delivered speech, there is a throne near the roof of Darbar-e-Yazeed (A.L) on which Yazeed used to sit and run the Government affairs. This throne is decorated with the wooden material (Hand-i-Craft but now it is the sign left indicating the old civilization). 5.On the back side of the Darbar-e-Yazeed (A.L), there is a house of Yazeed (A.L) in which he was living is now representing as destroyed palace which really indicates the old civilization, as situated in Harrapa (Pakistan). This is the sign of Ibrat. 6. Almost, 10 or 12 feets away from the House of Yazeed (A.L) there is a grave of Slah-uddin Ayubi, a well known personality in the History books of Pakistan, but no Muslim is gone to his grave due to the very reason that he had killed more then 10,000 Muslim persons having Sheia community, only the Jewish people used to come to his grave. 7. Shrine of Bibi Sakeena Bint Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S). On the same way, we proceeded to the shrine of Hazrat Bibi Sakeena (S.A), which is near to the back side of Darbar-e-Yazeed (A.L), actually, the sharine was a prison on which all the Ahl-e-Bait Rasool was kept in it. At that time, it was a just room but now it has been constructed and the Grave of Hazrat Bibi Sakeena has now become the shrine and most of the Iranian people are now looking after the shrine of Bibi Sakeena (S.A), in a very excellent manner On next day, i.e. 23.04.1997 at 4.30 (P.M) we again proceeded from Damascus near to the borders of Syria & Jordan, in order to stay in Iraq. It was a very difficult task to clear from the three Boarders. At last, we reached at the Hotel near the Shrine of Kaziman (Baghdad) at 7.20 (P.M) on 24.04.1997. We wanted to celebrate Eid-e-Ghadeer and decided to celebrate it in the shrine of Hazrat Imam Ali (A.S). Therefore, this day was celebrated in the shrine of Hazrat Ali (A.S) in Najif and also in the Sharine of Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S) and Hazrat Abbas-e-Alamdar (A.S) in Karbala. It was a great fortune for us to see these shrines one again, Thanks to God. On 26th April, 1997 we against started journey from Kaziman to Iran and ultimately after clearing all the normal formalities we reached at Qom on 27th April, 1997 at 6.30 (A.M) in the morning. On 28th April, 1997 we saw the local Ziarats of Tehran, which is 110 KM away from the city of Qom. Following are the main Ziarats which were seen on that day. Bibi Sharbano 1. This is the Ziarat of Bibi Sharbano the wife of Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S) and the mother of Hazrat Syed Sajjad (A.S). Her shrine is situated on the top of the hill nearly 200 meters high. There is a complete road available which has recently been constructed by the Iranian Government. She is very famous in the Ahl-e-Bait Rasool with whose help the further kith and Kins of Imams were flourished through Hazrat Syed Sajjad (A.S), because of the reason, the Ahl-e-Baith Rasool were martyred during the tragedy of Karbala. I understand, the tragedy of Karbala may be very well known to every reader of this visit report, and there is no need to explain in these paras. 2. Tomb of Hazrat Imam Khumani (A.R) is also seen, which is near to Tehran. 3. Ziarats of Shah Abdul Azeem in Tehran. Following are the main shrines situated in side the main compound of Shah Abdul Azeem. " Shrine of Hazrat Abdul Azeem bin Abdullah bin Ali bin
Imam Hussain (A.S) bin Hazrat Ali (A.S). After doing these Ziarats, we again came back from Tehran to
Qom city before Aazan-e-Maagrib and accordingly offered the prayers in the shrine
of Hazrat Fatima Bint Hazrat Musa Kazim (A.S) well known as Masooma-Qom. It
goes without saying that she is the real sister of Hazrat Imam Raza (A.S) in
whose shrine we had to proceed on 30th April, 1997 through Air Journey due to
the reason that my mother and Ante have requested that the Air Fare is very
less in Iran as compared with the Air Fare of Pakistan. It may be added that
the fare from Tehran City to Mashad city having more than 800 Km, is not more
than Pakistani 700 Rupees. Therefore, we decided to travel in Iran by Air, instead
of comfortable Buses. While staying in the Holy Shrine of Hazrat Fatima "Masooma Qom" we have also visited the local Ziarats as per list below:- JIMKARAN MOSQUE It is situated near Qom City and is famous Mosque in the name of Hazrat Mahdi (A.S). 1. Hazrat Ahmad bin Qasim bin Ahmad bin Ali bin Jaffar bin Hazrat
Imam Sadiq (A.S). Shahzada Hazrat Hussain (A.S). Bin Syed Sajjad (A.S) 1. Shahzada Ahmad bin Hazrat Syed Sajjad (A.S). Shrine of Hazrat Imam Raza (A.S) After doing all these Ziarats in local Qom. On 30 April, 1997 we went to the Tehran Air-port at 1.15 (P.M) from Qom City after traveling more than 120 Kms, in order to proceed to Mashad City for the Ziarat of Imam-e-Raza (A.S). We reached in Mashed Makadus at 4.50 (P.M) and straight-away went to Hotel. After taking bath I alongwith my mother and Ante went into the Holy shrine of Hazrat Imam Raza (A.S) son of Hazrat Imam-e-Musa Kazim (A.S). The shrine had been constructed in a big land having more than one square. There are almost 12 big doors and 12 big courtyards etc. This shrine is also having a lot of "Fanoos". In this shrine, we have to stay upto 3rd May, 1997 and on this very same day our Air tickets have been Booked and the flight time has also been fixed at 15.45 (P.M). Inshallah, we will be proceeding to Zahadan from the holy city of Makadus accordingly. We reached at Zahadan well in time and ultimately, two nights were spent in this city and on 5th of May, 1997 we proceeded to Zahadan Railway Station at 06.00 (A.M) in order to travel by Zahadan Express from the Iranian city of Zahadan to Quetta. Actually, I am writing these lines at 2.30 (PM) on 6th May, 1997 while sitting in Zahadan express. The arrival of this train at Quetta is stated to have been 2.00 (P.M) but, we have hardly covered half of the distance due to thunder storm. Due to this thunder storm, dust from the surroundings of the track have covered the main railway line and thus the line looks invisible for the driver, therefore, it really becomes a great problem for the driver as well as for the passengers. It is still not clear how much more time is required to be taken in order to complete this journey. It goes without saying that this train has started its journey from Zahadan at 8.30 (P.M). After a long time, the train reached at Quetta Railway Station at 4.25 (A.M) early in the morning i.e. more than Forty two hours were consumed to complete the journey, whereas the train should have reached at Quetta at 2.30 (P.M) on 6th April, 1997. Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that the traveling on Pakistani train from the Zahadan Railway Station to Quetta should be carried out through Toyota "Hilux" which takes approximately 10 hours for this Journey. I hope the readers of this visit report will travel through Hiluxes instead of Zahadan Express. However, when we reached at Quetta Railway Station at 4.25 (A.M) on 7th May, 1997, Salar-e-Qafila has already arranged Hotel accommodation for us thus we were taken to Hotel Shadban which is not far way from Railway Station. After taking bath from the Hotel I, my mother and my ante straight-away went to local market in order to purchase sweaters and blankets for kith and kin of my mother as well as of my ante respectively. Now, we are sitting in the Quetta Express and the required seats have already been Booked therein by the salar-e-Qafila accordingly and these lines are also being written while sitting in Quetta Express at the Sibi Railway Station at 4.25 (P.M) as on 7th May, 1997. Inshallah, we will reach at Lahore Railway Station on 8th May, 1997. On 8th May, 1997 at 2.10 (P.M) we reached at the Lahore Railway Station and, after taking the Suzuki Van, nearly at 2.40 (P.M) we entered in our home safe and sound. Alhamdolillah, This is the end of the visit report, please feel free to contact me for any type of your suggestions regading improvement in this visit report. Best Regards.
